Genetics

We havent been up to much lately- just trying to survive this blasted heat, so we are doing workbooks, crafts, laundry, coloring books, fort-building, laundry, veggietales, playdough, laundry, bubbles, dancing, laundry, popsicles, puzzles, & laundry. Sounds like a never ending nursery class minus the never ending laundry. Fun, but I am counting the days 'til Halloween. Once that holiday hits, the temps go down and my kids can actually play outside without getting heatstroke! Right now their physical activity consists of jumping on the couches and dancing to the veggietales theme song. I know I shouldnt wish away these days, and I dont really mean to, but can we finish up with summer now? The last 2 weeks have felt like years.

For your randomness FYI-I have recently taken after my brothers and am going bald. As if I wasnt funny looking enough already, I discovered a huge bald spot on my head, but thanks to my skill in comb-overs its not too noticeable. But still, bald??? What the heck?!

Oh that stinks, I'm sorry. I'm sure it's not as bad or noticable as you think. We're always our own worst critics.

You're to funny! I remember losing a bunch in the front after each baby. I've always considered it kinda unfair, you'd think after the whole child bearing experience you'd at least keep the beautiful lush hair! But don't worry it always comes back!

I am with you, it is way to hot and I am ready for my kids to be able to play outside without the threat of heat stroke and burning to a crisp. SOrry about the whole balding thing, I have the same problem, it really sucks, and then I see these girls with long super thick hair and it makes me notice even more how thin mine is. I always hated once the hormones after preg. were gone and my hair seemed to fall out in clumps. Anyways, if it makes ya feel any better I didn't notice when I saw ya!

I agree that the hair will come back. And I don't blame you one bit for wanting summer to be over!!
