Run Daniel Run

My dearest darling Daniel ran his first official half marathon today. Being the supporting wife that I am, I chose to do this post instead of being at the finish line to cheer him on. I can admit it, I am a schmuck.
He did really well, except at mile 10 when he puked. 4 TIMES! Poor poor Daniel. But after the contents of his stomach were spewed on the side of the road, he jumped back in and finished the race. "What a man, what a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man!" Way to go hun!

Gotta admit. . . I've FELT like puking. But I never did. Daniel has me wondering if the puking actually makes you feel better to finish the race. Way to go man!

Yeah Daniel!
That is a huge accomplishment... and just the start of the addiction!:)
That's how Fred started. With just a 1/2 marathon here and there. THEN BAM!! Suddenly we're up to our eyeballs in Ironman prep!

Why was he puking? Was he running it while sick? Way to hang in there and keep going.

Go Daniel Go! I'm with Sabra where is the running suit? I'm always impressed when someone runs for the fun of it cuz I really don't see any point in running that far for that long.

Way to go Daniel! I think 1/2 is just right! I don't know how these people do full marathons or ultra, as Margo said of Tom when he was doing the full "It's takes a special kind of crazy to run a marathon!". I can't believe how long it's been since I've visited your blog! I love all the cute Halloween pictures and I'm so grateful all went well with your surgery! I hope you're feeling all better now! We're excited to see you all at Christmas. And yes, I did update my blog I just need to get to the Halloween pictures, they are coming! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I wish you were here, tell Daniel to plan on running a 1/2 here in Utah in June with Tom and I, then we'll have an extra excuse to get you here!
